The Prophetic Significance and the Implication of the Feast of the Lord

The pascal also called the easter feast hold a lot of prophetic revelation in the coming of Christ.

The prophetic significance of the Feast of the Lord.

The prophetic significance and implications of the Feast of the Lord.
Surprisingly, this time around the world was caught naked and unprepared without any prior knowledge of what was coming. The world and the church did not know something was lurking behind within the veil of darkness. Though the world was unprepared, yet the most affected was the church we all hold so dearly by the suddenness of the event. The effect can be seen in the low key manner we all celebrated the feast days. Our places of public worship were lockdown in an atmosphere of the unexpected. The closure of our places of worship was a big blow we never saw coming. For the first time in living memory, all church services were held in a family setting without the pompons and our beautifully dressed members relishing in the spirit of the festivities.
It is evident the world is in limbo, desperately waiting for answers. They want to hear about what the future holds for them, and the good news of great tidings from the church. They are anxious to know why we are celebrating the feast, and what it all means in a world gone wrong.
Even so, there is a hard to tell question on everyone’s lips. What is going on? Why is all this happening? Is the world coming to an end? These are some of the questions of relevance. We can hear often asked by deeply troubled participants on the social media platform. It is also the same story among the concerned or curious, the unsaved and the believers alike.
Especially now that we have the feast of the Lord coinciding with the period of the deadly pandemic ravaging all corners of the world. Though there is no connection between, yet the world believes the Church must have the answers. They are anxiously waiting to hear what we have to say about the signs of the times. They want to know what we can give back in answer to the problems confronting the world.
Right now, we are standing between the great spring feast of Passover and the first-fruit that just ended in the Western world, but commencing in the Eastern parts of Europe. But what is the significance of this feast in the larger picture of the fulfillment of biblical prophecy? Prophetically speaking, is there any connection between the Passover feast and the coming of Christ. Do the seven feasts of the Lord hold any distinct revelation of prophetic magnitude showing the plans, time and seasons of events in the dispensation of God? The answer to all that is yes, they all do in the end time prophetic calendar of God.
But many of the prophecies are unknown to the believers due to the prevalence of our weak, lighthearted, lack of seriousness, don’t care attitude to the things of Christ. Including our wrong teachings on the doctrine of the end times called eschatology, the future of Israel called Israelology and the church. On the other hand, does the rapid spreading of the pandemic foreshadows the sign of the times that is come upon us?
In addition, what can we glean from the spreading of the feast between the spring feast and the fall feast? For the Lord has placed the feast of unleavened bread, Passover, and Firstfruit, in the first month of Abib. And the feast of Atonement, Trumpet, and Tabernacles in the seventh month. In addition, He had placed the feast of Pentecost between the first and seventh. What do that hold for us today? What can we learn from them?
For our Lord started His earthly ministry by declaring scriptures. He came to fulfill all the biblical prophecy that concerns Him. He was sent by our heavenly Father in the fullness of time to fulfill the scripture. That is the accuracy and the beauty of Bible prophecy. Hence the missing link in understanding biblical prophecy is Christ and the place of Israel in the plan of God.
But how many believers know the prophetic scriptures in relation to the calendar set by God for the time of the end? I wonder how many believers have been taught that the feast of the Lord holds a great cache of revelation around the first and second coming of the Lord Jesus.
For that reason and through the grace of God we shall examine the different feasts of the Lord to understand what is hidden and what is given to us to discern. Because the feast foreshadows Christ and the end times. In all, God had given and used them to speak to us in diverse ways. That is why the feast offers us a window to behold Christ and actually know the seasons of the Lord’s return. Hence the missing link in understanding biblical prophecy is Christ and the place of Israel in the plan of God.
For example, the spring feasts of Passover, Firstfruit and the Pentecost also called the appointed times were fulfilled at the first coming of our Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Therefore, if the spring feast has been fulfilled by the coming of Christ as promised, then nothing shall hinder Christ Jesus our Lord in fulfilling the fall feast. For the fall feasts of Atonement, Trumpets, and the Tabernacles shall all be fulfilled at the Second Coming of Christ in glory.
The Feast of Atonement shall be fulfilled when Israel repent and accept the Messiah. It agrees with the scripture that says that Christ’s second coming is not to repeat the works of redemption, but for the perfection of our salvation and judgment. Because God will not offer salvation twice, but the judgment that shall follow after redemption. This shall happen during the period of Jacob’s trouble as spoken Prophet Jeremiah. Afterward, all Israel shall be saved as spoken by the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul.
However, the feast of Trumpet should not be mistaken with the trump of the rapture. While the feast of Tabernacles pictures the period when our Lord shall dwell or tabernacle with us on earth. Alleluia, praise the Lord. Moreover, by spiritually observing these feast our spiritual life can be heightened. Also, the acquired knowledge can help us understand the time periods and the signs of the times in which we live. They can also remind us of the greatest events of the past and the coming events of the future. Then let us not sleep as others. Let the church be edified by being aware of the significance of the feasts in the calendar of God.
Our Lord did not intend the feasts abandoned after the coming of the Lord Jesus. But that the church should learn the lessons of the feast as they relate to the coming of Christ in bible prophecy. In fact, now is the best time for the church to be watchful and prayerful. Also, it is the time to rediscover the feasts again as the hour of Christ return approaches or draws near. Instead of saying happy Easter, let us say, happy Christ Jesus our Firstfruit, and the Holy Spirit our Pentecost.
In all things, let the church be about spreading the message of hope to a world lost in trespasses. With goodwill, let us invite the world to celebrate with us on this festive season of the joy of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Let us tell the world it is finished the table is set, come in, eat and drink all who hears. Telling them it is without cost.
For those who have accepted the Lord as Savior, know that God has appointed that we shall all meet at the sound of the trumpet in the clouds of the rapture. And on the day of resurrection if Christ delays His coming. Therefore, let us all continue in faithfulness to serve even if our Lord delays His coming.
Maranatha.

Jesus Christ our Passover and First fruit.

Christ our Pascal and First-fruit
The Bible records that Christ rose up from the dead on the third day after fulfilling the feast of the Passover called Pascal. In truth, He died to fulfill the Pascal, but He rose up in the fulfillment of the important feast of the first fruit. Believers of every denomination need to know the truth of the Scripture.
But sadly to say our Bible teachers are teaching us otherwise. What they teach us to celebrate on the Sunday of the Pascal they called “Easter” instead of the first fruit. So we rightly celebrate a feast we ignorantly call “Easter”. But why do church leaders call it “Easter” instead of First-fruit? That we shall soon know because the Bible says people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. We are being destroyed in the midst of so much knowledge that the old world would have been jealous of.
You might be surprised to know the Bible calls the name of the feast the First-fruit, and not Easter if you honestly read 1 Corinthians chapter 15 and verse 20. Christ is called our First-fruit instead of Easter in that short passage dealing with His resurrection.
The question is how many believers understand that celebrating this unique feast of the first fruit is tantamount to celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Perhaps you have never heard of this very important feast. Then let’s take a second look at this feast that corresponds to the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. Because at this age very few believers know about this highly important feast. We all know about the feast of Passover called Pesach or Pascal which is often mistaken as a Jewish holiday. But very few are instructed in the truth of the feast of Passover and the first fruit. Sometimes you have to dig further to get hold of what the scripture teaches.
Most of the confusion and offenses arise because certain theologians find it supportive to their own agenda and advantage to omit the Hebraic roots of the Bible. And others who are bent on replacing anything Jewish with Gentile implants. Nevertheless, it is profitable to know that neither the Bible nor our Lord ever called it a Jewish feast because it belongs to Him. The Bible calls it the feast of the Lord. And our Lord called them my feasts. Hence, what our God calls my feast is His feast. It is wrong to allude a Jewish connotation to them.
However, Passover is one of the seven “Feasts of the Lord” in the Bible with special meaning and significance for all believers of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But before the coming of our Lord the feast of Purim (Esther’s feast) and Hanukkah were added. Thus the seven feasts included the Feasts of Light called Hanukkah duly observed by our Lord Jesus and His apostles. The added feast of Hanukkah was instituted to remember the deliverance of the Jews from the Emperor Antiochus IV during the Maccabean revolt. This happened about 167-160 BC before the first coming of Christ Jesus our Lord. These were the feast duly observed by the Apostles and the other disciples of our Lord Jesus in the first century even after His death and resurrection.
Instead what is happening in our churches is the ignorant observance of feasts our Lord never handed down to His Church. However, many reasons can be found as to why the church substituted the names and elements of the feast for a gentile or worldly traditions. Some has to do with having a total break from the Jewish tradition. The other group did not want the church be identified with the Jewish element of our faith. And that is where they missed out and corrupted the pure teachings of the scripture with the faulty traditions of men.
However, if one would faithfully study the biblical feasts as outlined in the book of Leviticus by Moses. He shall discover that a lot of things are not right with many of the traditional teachings handed down to us. In fact, reading the Bible under the guidance of the Holy Spirit has the power to dispel all the clouds and shadows of replacement theology. There and then we can observe the hidden prophetic angles of the feasts of the Lord. In addition, one can discover why our Lord placed the feast into two natural divisions of the spring and fall feasts. The division has a reason and a prophetic perspective attached to it.
The Bible also reveals to us that the feast was not intended only for the children of Israel, but for all who have the faith of Abraham. The feast also holds a deep and special prophetic revelation with respect to the first and the second coming or the return of Jesus. They also reveal the life, suffering, death and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus.
During the Sunday school, without a doubt, most believers have been taught the word of God to recognize that the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified on Passover called Pascal. But many do not know that He rose up on the Feast of First-fruits instead of Easter as the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 15 and verses 20 fully reveals. The Bible emphatically declares Christ as our First-fruit.
Then why do many churches observe a holiday known as Easter instead of the Pascal and First-fruit? The key to understanding the confusion is found in the book of Acts chapter 12, verse 4, where it was stated that Easter was after the feast of the unleavened bread. And the crown of the feast of unleavened bread is the Passover or Pascal tying in with the first fruit at the end. There also we find that Herod celebrated Easter where he intended to commit murder.
From this obvious evidence, we can conclude that the Easter celebration is a gentile addition. It was given to the church during the centuries that followed her marriage to the powers of Rome. This is a Pergamos substitution that has no place in the scripture. That was the period when the church began to combine pagan holidays with biblical feasts.
In all our Lord has divided the feast into two broad streams of the spring and the fall feast. So let’s partake spiritually both in observing the spring and the fall feast since we do not know the hour or the day. Let us, therefore, learn a lesson from these feasts, especially in this season of the unexpected. For there is still time to embrace these important lessons before the fall feasts are fulfilled.
Since as believers, we are not called to live by the letter of the word, but by the spirit of the word of God. Thus, knowing the prophetic dimension of the feast can profoundly increase the faith of the believers. It is a source of wisdom that can open our understanding of the timeline of the works of the Lord. Besides, it can give us a new appreciation of the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ so that we can know who He is, why He came and what He expects of us to do in this hour.

A message for the Pascal

Death has been robbed of her pain. We declare victory over the pandemic because Christ is risen.

A short Message
Dear friends and brethren,
Happy Pascal and Firstfruit, Christ Jesus our First-fruit is risen, Hallelujah He is risen indeed.-
We have a message from our Lord to the world in crisis. It is a message of hope pivoted on the truth that our Lord Jesus is alive, He has risen, He rose from the dead, He rose to prove that death has been abolished and God is sovereign over all, even the worst evil in the world (Acts 2:23).
And the resurrection is proof that God is in control even in the midst of the ultimate act of rebellion and injustice perpetrated by mankind. And through the resurrection, God is reaching out with love and grace to save and deliver his people.
Today we are in the midst of this awful pandemic and many nations and multitudes are in distress. But above all that Is Christ our risen Savior who is worthy and worth holding on to. He is our Love, Hope, Anchor and Shepherd.
On this Pascal and Firstfruit Sunday, however dark and strange the circumstances may be, let us rejoice in Him and boldly declare to the world that the Lord Jesus Christ is the hope of the nations. On this Pascal Sunday, let us pray and be thankful, saying thank you Lord for the gift of life.
In addition, God has given us the good news of true hope to proclaim, let us announce it on the roof top. Let us tell the world there is hope. Let us tell the world, starting with our neighbors that Jesus Christ is risen, He is risen indeed.
Finally, let me also say thank you to all my friends and brethren for your fellowship in my ministry of evangelism. Many of you have supported my ministry in ways untold, I say thank you. Surely the living God whom I serve through His Son Jesus shall bless richly you us all.
Happy Pascal! Christ is risen! Hallelujah, He is risen!
